Wallpaper from an abandoned property, once home to a couple who lived there until they were elderly. One died some years before the other, then when dementia took the widow, she was placed in a nursing home. The house lay empty for several years, until she too passed, and it was eventually sold on. The ghosts of those lives are echoed in the vestiges of their presence - in the time-coloured wallpaper, tracing the places their possessions had been left against the walls. This is the section where the bedhead was placed, with two bedside cabinets either side.
