Drawings made to resemble family photos

Pencil portraits taken from family photographs in an attempt to faithfully recreate the original image, so that when framed and presented, at a glance or from a distance, the drawing might appear as the original. An idea that came about through the consideration of how things such as traits and neuroses, transfer from one generation to the next. The inherent failure of the task, echoing that 'slippage' between generations.
